Who we are

1Now, Inc. (“1Now”, “we”, “us”) provides software that lets car rental operators and Turo hosts take direct bookings and run their business. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

Account details you give us, such as your name, email, business name and payment information.

Data your renters submit through your 1Now site, including booking, identity and insurance details.

Usage and device data collected automatically as you use the product.

How we use it

To provide, secure and improve the product, process payments, prevent fraud, provide support and send service and marketing communications you can opt out of.

Sharing

We share data with processors that help us run 1Now (for example payments, identity and insurance partners) and where required by law. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember preferences and measure how the site is used. You can control cookies in your browser settings.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your data and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.

Data Security

1Now applies industry-standard safeguards to protect all personal and sensitive data, including data accessed through Google APIs (such as Google Calendar):

  • Encryption — data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest.
  • Access controls — access to sensitive data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis (role-based access + authentication).
  • Secure infrastructure — hosted on reputable, secured cloud infrastructure with network protections, logging, and monitoring.
  • Data minimization & retention — we collect only what’s needed, keep it only as long as necessary, and delete it when no longer needed (e.g., Google Calendar data is deleted when you disconnect the integration or delete your account).
  • Ongoing review — we periodically review our security practices and limit third-party access to what’s required to run the service.

Google User Data and Limited Use

When you connect your Google Calendar to 1Now, we request the Google Calendar scope (https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events). We use this access solely to create, update, and delete calendar events that match your 1Now bookings — no other purpose.

1Now’s use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, and to the Google Workspace API User Data and Developer Policy. Specifically:

  • We do not sell Google user data.
  • We do not transfer Google user data except as needed to provide the calendar-sync feature, to comply with law, or in a merger/acquisition with appropriate safeguards.
  • We do not use Google user data (raw, aggregated, or derived) to develop, improve, or train generalized or foundational AI/ML models. 1Now’s AI features run only on our own fleet and booking data and never access Google user data.
  • Humans don’t read your Google user data except with your explicit consent, to resolve a support issue you raise, where required by law, or for security/abuse prevention.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction or deletion of your data. Contact us to exercise these rights.
